Marketing your equipment
At Hodgins Online Auctions we actively begin
marketing your equipment long before the auction opens. With
many buyers and their various needs, we’re quickly able
to inform interested buyers about your items. We actively
market your equipment in an effort to ensure you receive the
best possible price.
Commissions
Right off the top sellers pay less in commissions
than at traditional auctions. The seller will only pay 6%-8%
commission for most pieces. Outright Purchases, Financial
Guarantees and straight commission options may also be made
available.
Another exciting point is that there are no extra transportation
costs or preparation fees that a traditional auction has.

Guaranteed Inspection Reports
Our Guaranteed Inspection Reports
bring great results. A guaranteed inspection reassures buyers
and helps to generate more bids. The inspections take place
at your location and are published online for all bidders
to view. The inspection reports are covered by our "Gold
Metal Assurance" plan which provides the guarantee that
what you see on the report is what you get when you receive
the equipment.
1. Consign Your Items
You may consign your items by filling out
our Consignment Agreement or by contacting Hodgins Online
Auctions at 1-800-667-2075. Be sure to familiarize yourself
with the Terms and Conditions and Costs to Seller.
2. Inspections
You may choose to have your items inspected.
Guaranteed Inspection Reports help buyers bid with assurance.
Hodgins Online Auctions will inspect your equipment at your
location and the report will be posted online for all bidders
to view.
3. Collect Your Payment
Hodgins Online Auction collects payments
from the buyer and deposits the monies into a secure bank
account. Funds are released to you once the buyer takes possession
and has accepted the goods. The buyer is responsible for the
transportation of the equipment.
